I have lived on Arran with my husband and children for the past 14 years. My background is in Arts Administration and English Language teaching, but island-life brings diversification and I’ve since enjoyed working as an Early Years Practitioner, a UHI Mentor/Tutor and a Forest School Leader. Aside from co-directing the outdoor shop, Arran Active, with my husband, I devote much time to two island charities, Roots of Arran Community Woodland and Arran Community Land Initiative, for the latter I was a founding trustee. Any vestiges of energy I have left go into amateur musical pursuits (choral and string ensemble), growing vegetables and sporadic attempts at trail running!
Qualifications: MA in Arts Criticism, BA Hons in French & English, CTEFLA, Forest School Leader, Early Years Practitioner NVQ Level 3
